For the past two weeks I have been down here is lovely Lawrenceville Illinois. Now that we are doing low-flow sampling down here I had some extra time to get some dragonfly photos. While looking up what dragonflies I had, I read that the Green Darner can reach speeds of 55 mph. I liked the photo of the Eastern Pondhawk, because it looked like he was smiling at me.
